The Gelisim University of Istanbul (Türkiye) hosted on 24 and 25 October a coordination meeting of the European project Rural In Life, co-funded by Erasmus+ of the European Union.
The meeting consisted of two phases: a review of the programme in which the great documentary and dissemination work carried out to date was highlighted; and another on production aspects such as relevant forms and dates for the preparation of management documents to be presented, such as the financial report or the report on dissemination activities.
Likewise, the structure of the ‘Guide for professionals on independent living for people with disabilities in rural areas‘ was presented; the state of development of the MOOC in English and Spanish versions was presented; and the graphic design and structure of the App4independentlife, a very useful tool for professionals and users, where they can find a catalogue of services and tools available in different countries in a simple and quick way, was discussed.
In addition, a workshop was held with the participation of a multidisciplinary team with professionals from social work, education and psychology, as well as computer engineering and industrial design.
In Rural In Life project are participating the organisations: COCEMFE Sevilla (coordinator), Istanbul Gelisim University (Türkiye), OZARA Doo (Slovenia), Fundazione Instituto dei Sordi di Torino (Italy), EQUIP (Denmark), FAMMA (Madrid, Spain) and FEKOOR (Euskady, Spain).
