The Provincial Federation of Associations of People with Physical and Organic Disabilities of Seville, COCEMFE Seville, is participating during the 21st, 22nd and 23rd of the current month, at the college Jean Charcot in the town of Joinville le Pont, near Paris and at the headquarters of GIP FCIP of the Académie de Créteil, of the transnational training for professionals of the guidance method that will create the European project Orient2Work.
During the first training day, the host partner, GIP FCIP, introduced the objectives of the programme and the different activities during the training. At the same time, all the partners of the project, among which Pmi Services, the Italian Project coordinator, our entity COCEMFE Sevilla, representing Spain and Pozitif Diyalog from Turkey, presented the way in which women belonging to the most vulnerable groups of the society are accompanied and guided for the labour insertion in each of the participating countries of the project.
After the above, 4 women who are being accompanied and trained by the GRETA 94 entity to obtain the certificate to work as nursing assistants, offered their life stories and told how they had to face the challenge of starting again in a different country, learning a new language in some cases and starting a training for which, in some cases, they already had the related competences.
It is worth mentioning that these women have the status of migrants, specifically, they come from countries such as Tunisia, China, Cameroon and Somalia. In this context, we can say that, despite the difficulties in these two years of training, teachers and counsellors work with them integrally, motivating them and bringing them closer to teamwork and empowering them to belong to the society that welcomes them today.
On behalf of the CCAS Limeil Brevannes, Mr. Said Ressad analysed the obstacles and vulnerability faced by these women and how, following the comprehensive work and guidance plan mutually agreed, they are gradually being overcome.
Likewise, Ms. Adrianna Osorio, communication expert of GRETA 94, presented the specific process of orientation for training and employment that is applied for women in vulnerable situations, and that will be useful for the model that will be created within the European project Orient2work.
On the second day, in Creteil, CLEA, a national certification tool developed by Clémence Graber, Counsellor at GRETA 94, was presented.
Within this platform, it is highlighted that it allows to generate a first level certification of basic competences and an opportunity to improve the orientation of women in vulnerable situations.
Another of the tools highlighted during the conference is FLE (French as a Foreign Language), a means to improve language skills and increase the possibilities of job seekers or future apprentices.
COCEMFE Seville continues to weave ties in Europe to work together for the quality of life of women with disabilities.
