The Provincial Federation of Associations of People with Physical and Organic Disabilities of Seville, COCEMFE Seville, is present, through the department of European projects in the third management meeting of the WeUnique project, held on 5 and 6 March in the city of Kaunas, Lithuania.
The participants of this third European meeting of the WeUnique project, have been the partner entities NDMA and Beti, as hosts, the entity CPIP of Romania and COCEMFE Seville, representing Spain.
During the development of this conference, the status of the project was presented, as well as the intellectual materials for the courses to improve inclusion with groups of students with some type of Autism Spectrum Disorder with physical and organic disabilities and students from migrant backgrounds and refugees from armed conflicts.
In addition, the interface of a training platform was presented, which will house the contents and training materials, among which are: a manual with strategies for improving inclusion in the classroom, expert advice, interviews with education professionals, life stories with the improvement of students and a repository of open resources, both in Spanish and English.
In the framework of this third meeting in Lithuania, other aspects have been addressed such as the preparation of online workshops, the content of which will deal with inclusion issues in primary and secondary classrooms through tips and interactive mechanics. The workshops will be open to any professional involved in the world of disability education, training, guidance and counselling or who is interested in these issues. Access will be free of charge upon request to the Federation.
The dates of these workshops will be stipulated between 30 April and 6 May 2024, from 16:00 to 17:30 hours, with a teaching methodology in the first phase and a round of questions in the second phase of each session of these workshops.
