COCEMFE Seville participates in DIGIBOOST Transnational Training Meeting in Turkey

During the 3rd, 4th and 5th of this month, the Provincial Federation of People with Physical and Organic Disabilities of Seville, COCEMFE Seville, through the technicians of the European projects department, Álvaro Walls and Carlos Manuel Reina, participated in a transnational training workshop that is part of the continuity of the work of the Digiboost project, in Antalya, Turkey.

For this opportunity, the transnational training meeting with the other European partners consisted of the discussion and analysis of the results obtained in the different focus groups and surveys that were carried out in countries of the continent, such as: Lithuania, Italy, Turkey, Slovenia and Spain.

On the part of our Provincial Federation, the focus group was held in July in the Seville town of Los Palacios y Villafranca, where we obtained results that provide us with significant value in the orientation of the guide on digital entrepreneurship in rural areas that we are going to create together with the University of Antalya, BETI Institute, Atabey Halk Egitim Merkezi, Ozara Doo and PMI Services, who make up the body of partners in the project.

It is important to contextualise that this European project has as its main objective the development of digital entrepreneurship in rural areas of Europe.

Details of the workshop

On the first day of the workshop, the needs of the context for digital entrepreneurship in rural areas were analysed, the focus of which was based on the objectives of the workshop. The project objectives, work packages and respective roles were also reviewed.

An analysis of the workshop overview focused on the development of a digital entrepreneurship training programme.

The second session of the first day consisted of the analysis and assessment of the needs and their context, as well as the identification of the most important components that should be included in the project curriculum.

Subsequently, the qualitative data provided in the focus groups were used to customise the rural needs curriculum. In the last session of the day, a summary of the most relevant discussions was made and the activity guides for the next day were prepared.

During the second and third day, a short recap of the previous day was made and immediately started with an analysis of multidisciplinary perspectives on digital entrepreneurship. Collaborative work was also carried out to develop and refine the curriculum for digital entrepreneurship training.
