General Objectives

The objectives of the project are to promote digital entrepreneurship in rural areas by providing education, mentoring and resources to disadvantaged people. The aim is to develop their entrepreneurial skills, increase the use of technology, foster innovative business ideas, create employment opportunities and strengthen communities. Concrete results include establishing sustainable businesses, increasing employability, promoting economic development and improving social cohesion.

Digital entrepreneurship training will include access to digital tools and technologies, the provision of online resources and educational materials, and the establishment of partnerships with relevant stakeholders. In addition, we will evaluate and monitor the progress of project participants and provide feedback and support as needed. Our aim is to provide a comprehensive and supportive environment for the development of digital entrepreneurship skills in rural areas.

 

Activities

WP1- Project management and implementation

WP2- Qualitative research and needs assessment,

Specific objectives:

  1. To conduct a quantitative research study to assess the digital entrepreneurship skills and technology use of people in rural areas of the project partner countries.
  2. To identify the needs, challenges and opportunities for the development of digital entrepreneurship in rural areas.
  3. Use the results of the needs assessment to design and adapt the project training programme to meet the specific needs of the target group.

WP3- Curriculum development, digital platform and piloting.

The specific objectives of WP3 are:

  1. To develop a training programme that includes theoretical and practical components and is tailored to the needs of the target group.
  2. Design and develop a digital platform to be used to deliver the training programme and provide access to relevant learning resources.
  3. Pilot test the training programme and digital platform with a small group of participants and make any necessary adjustments based on feedback.
  4. Develop guidelines and training materials for trainers delivering the training programme in the future.

WP4- Dissemination and exploitation of results

The specific objectives of WP4 are:

  1. To disseminate project results to a wider audience
  2. To exploit project results for the benefit of stakeholders
  3. To ensure sustainability of project results beyond the project duration.

These objectives contribute to the overall project objectives by ensuring that project results are shared and used effectively.

Results

The project is expected to have several tangible results. Firstly, project participants will have acquired digital entrepreneurship skills, which will enable them to set up and maintain their own businesses, thereby increasing income and job creation in the region. Participants will have increased the use of technology and innovative business ideas, contributing to economic growth and competitiveness in rural areas. Employment opportunities will be created through the formation of small businesses.
