The third Transnational Partner Meeting of the European Project ‘Readjusting To Life’ aimed at people with acquired disabilities has taken place in Seville hosted by COCEMFE Seville.

The headquarters of the Provincial Federation of Associations of People with Physical and Organic Disabilities of Seville (COCEMFE Seville) has hosted the third transnational meeting of the European project ‘Readjusting To Life’, in which the Federation participates together with other partners such as Surekli Egitim, Arastirma ve Danisma Dernegi and Süleymanpaşa Engelsiz Yaşam Derneği from Turkey, IASIS from Greece, Civic Computing Limited from England, and the coordinator of the project, Istanbul Universitesi of Turkey.

The meeting, attended by the institutions´ representatives involved, discussed the progress of their project, which is almost ready to be tested as they have reported.

As we know from previous publications, the purpose of the project is to create an online guide that will be available in four languages: Greek, Turkish, Spanish and English. This resource will bring together all the necessary information so that a person with acquired disabilities, their family members or any other interested person with disabilities will know exactly where to find the most relevant information they are looking for.

Therefore, during the coordination meeting held on 30th and 31st May, the state of progress of the guide was analysed, the result of which is that it will enter in a piloting phase from next month. At the same time, other aspects related to the guide were discussed such as its accessibility, having a satisfactory outcome of being 95% according to the Lighthouse Report Viewer tool.

The next meetings will be held in Edinburgh on 15th and 16th September and in Ankara on 17th and 18th November.
