The EU-RUDISNET project on mentoring and leadership of people with disabilities in rural areas celebrates the 4th coordination meeting in Slovenia

The city of Maribor (Slovenia) has hosted the fourth coordination meeting of the European project EU-RUDISNET, on 23rd and 24th November, in which all the project partners from Spain, Italy, Slovenia, Lithuania, Germany and Turkey participated.

The overall objective of EU-RUDISNET is to create a European network for the social inclusion of people with disabilities through the development and pilot implementation of an innovative programme on mentoring for leadership to promote cooperation and training of civic associations in rural areas.

During the meeting, the beta version of the MOOC training platform was discussed. The construction of the MOOC is coordinated by BETI Institute and Provincial Federation of Associations of People with Physical and Organic Disabilities of Seville (COCEMFE Seville).

The facilities of the partner organisation OZARA d.o.o have also been visited, where the other partner organisations have been able to see first-hand how it carries out the labour inclusion of people with disabilities. This is through their own hiring in the manufacture of various materials and various industrial equipment, with job security and personalised advice from professionals who provide guidance so that these workers, from different circumstances, have a better adaptation to their position.

The EU-RUDISNET project is co-funded by the European Union through Erasmus+ and is coordinated by COCEMFE Seville together with partners CONSORZIO SGS (Italy), OZARA d.o.o (Slovenia), BETI (Lithuania) LEB eV (Germany) and Gelisim University of Istanbul (Turkey).
