COCEMFE Seville meets with the UPO so that students with disabilities can participate in the European project ‘Empower Youth Without Limits’.

The president of the Provincial Federation of Associations of People with Physical and Organic Disabilities of Seville (COCEMFE Seville), Juan José Lara; together with the European projects technician and the accessibility technician of the entity, Encarnación Barrera and Tomás Martín-Javato respectively, held a meeting yesterday at the university, with the academic director of Integration and Functional Diversity of the UPO, M. José Parejo; and the internship coordinator of the Faculty of Humanities, Nuria Ponce.

During the meeting, the Federation presented the European project ‘Empower Youth Without Limits‘, co-funded by Erasmus Plus of the European Union, aimed at increasing the skills of young people with disabilities to improve their employability. The aim is to respond to the needs and requests of this group, and to convey them to political representatives in order to improve their situation.

Under the framework of a collaboration agreement, joint lines of work will be planned and structured, thus creating more alliances between COCEMFE Seville and the Pablo de Olavide University.
