COCEMFE Sevilla Launches a Digital Entrepreneurship Course as Part of the European DIGIBOOST Project

The training course, combining 25 hours of face-to-face sessions and 20 hours of online learning, is testing educational resources developed over two years to improve employability and professional skills.

The Provincial Federation of Associations of People with Physical and Organic Disabilities of Seville, COCEMFE Sevilla, has launched a new digital entrepreneurship course this week, aimed at strengthening participants’ professional and technological skills. The training programme, running from Monday 21 to Friday 25 September, consists of a total of 45 hours: 25 hours of face-to-face classes and 20 hours of independent learning through the project’s virtual platform.

This course marks a key milestone as part of the pilot phase of the European DIGIBOOST project. Following more than two years of research and development, the educational materials are now being tested by real users. This practical phase will allow the resources to be tested, evaluated and refined based on participants’ direct experiences.

During the sessions, participants are becoming familiar with essential tools for today’s labour market, covering areas such as marketing, finance, social media management and various communication skills. They are also acquiring immediately applicable practical knowledge, including how to prepare an effective CV.

Working Together for Employment: Fundación Mornese and COCEMFE Sevilla

To maximise the impact of the training, the course connects theoretical learning with real employment opportunities. Professionals from the Orienta programme (run by Fundación Mornese) and the Incorpora programme (run by COCEMFE Sevilla) are working together in the classroom.

This collaboration broadens the opportunities available to participants by offering:

  • Personalised support in defining professional goals.

  • Active job-search techniques and interview preparation.

  • Up-to-date knowledge of the labour market.

  • Individual guidance and ongoing support for those wishing to start their own business.

In this way, participants receive the support they need to continue progressing towards their professional goals after completing the course.

Although the face-to-face pilot training is taking place over this week, the DIGIBOOST project is committed to accessibility. All training materials are available online free of charge to anyone interested in improving their digital skills.

The content, which includes practical exercises based on real-life situations, is structured around six key modules:

  1. Introduction to Digital Entrepreneurship.

  2. Digital Marketing Skills.

  3. Innovative Business Development.

  4. Financial Fundamentals.

  5. Social Media Management.

  6. Sustainable Development and Entrepreneurship in Rural Areas.

Anyone interested in accessing this training and applying the knowledge to their own projects can register and explore the resources through the course’s official platform:
