- No costs for participants and recreational activities such as catamaran rides.
The Provincial Federation of Associations of People with Physical and Organic Disabilities of Seville (FAMS-COCEMFE Seville) is organising, through the Erasmus+ programme co-financed by the European Union, a conference on empowerment for young people aged 18 to 30 years with physical or organic disabilities, preferably. The aim is to address the barriers faced by the group in the field of employment, training, etc., as well as proposals that generate employment or self-employment.
The conference will take place on 9 and 10 May 2019, on the Islantilla beach in Lepe (Huelva). This initiative is part of the Empower Youth Without Limits Project, and consists of meetings, working tables, activities such as accessible catamaran rides, dialogues between young people with disabilities and policy makers, among others. The action is aimed preferably at young people from the province of Seville, and includes food, accommodation and transport for participants and their companions. Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Those interested in participating can contact jovenessinlimites@cocemfesevilla.es or telephone 954 93 27 93 and will be informed of the conference in detail (ask for Encarnación Barrera). The deadline for registration is Friday 29 March 2019.
FAMS COCEMFE SEVILLA is concerned about equal access to employment, training and information for young people with disabilities. Therefore, it carries out this initiative to promote the participation of this group in society; to exchange opinions regarding access to employment, academic training, etc.
