The Provincial Federation of Associations of People with Physical and Organic Disabilities of Seville (COCEMFE Seville) will host the first Transnational Technical Meeting of the Erasmus+ KA220 project POSITIVE – Promoting Organisational Support for Inclusive and Transformative Interventions in Youth Work, to be held on 15 and 16 December 2025 at its premises. This meeting represents a key milestone in the implementation of the project’s second work package (WP2), which focuses on strengthening knowledge about the organisational ecosystems that support professionals working with young people at risk.
Over two working days, the Federation will welcome ten professionals from partner organisations based in Poland, the Netherlands, and Romania. This strategic meeting aims to consolidate the conceptual and methodological foundations of the first WP2 transnational study, which will address youth organisations’ attitudes and beliefs regarding mental health, emotional resilience, and the wellbeing of staff and volunteers.
As the lead organisation for activity A2.1 and co-lead for activity A2.2 alongside ACE-ES Romania, COCEMFE Seville will coordinate a range of sessions designed to align the consortium around a shared research framework, design joint data collection tools, and establish quality monitoring protocols. The meeting will also mark the official launch of the implementation phase of Study No. 1 and the start of preparations for Study No. 2, focused on analysing organisational readiness to provide positive and supportive working environments within the youth sector.
The meeting agenda includes plenary sessions led by expert staff and collaborative workshops covering the identification of national specificities in youth work, the development of consent templates and questionnaires, and the planning of nationally coordinated data collection. In addition, a cultural activity and a networking dinner are planned to foster transnational cooperation and intercultural exchange among project partners.
This meeting will play a fundamental role in ensuring scientific rigour, methodological coherence, and transnational comparability across the studies. The resulting outputs will strengthen the evidence base on organisational practices in youth work and support the development of innovative strategies that embed mental health and wellbeing within the internal functioning of organisations in the sector.
The ‘POSITIVE’ project is co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ programme, under Cooperation Partnerships in the field of Youth (KA220-YOU). Its purpose is to foster inclusive and sustainable innovation in the youth sector, in line with European Union priorities on social inclusion, mental health, and quality in youth work.
