On 15 and 16 April 2026, the 4th transnational coordination meeting (TPM) of the European Digiboost project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme, took place in Rome (Italy). This meeting brought together all the partners in the consortium with the aim of assessing the project’s progress, reviewing the results achieved and defining the next strategic actions.
The Provincial Federation of Associations for People with Physical and Organic Disabilities of Seville (COCEMFE Seville) was represented by the project’s Project Manager, Encarnación Barrera, and the technical expert and researcher Álvaro Walls, who played an active role in the working sessions, contributing particularly in the areas of quality, risk management and accessibility of the digital platform.
During the meeting, key aspects were addressed, such as monitoring the work plan and the Gantt chart, updating the curriculum development, and planning the project’s pilot phase, including methodologies and the implementation of forthcoming courses, assessment mechanisms and data collection protocols.
One of the most significant milestones was the presentation and demonstration of the project’s digital platform, in which COCEMFE Sevilla played an active role, emphasising the importance of ensuring accessibility in accordance with international standards (WCAG 2.1), as well as identifying technical improvements to ensure the full inclusion of people with disabilities.
Furthermore, the Federation led the session on quality assurance and risk management, presenting the results of the internal audits, the corrective actions implemented and the updated project risk register, thereby reinforcing the consortium’s commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
The meeting also enabled progress to be made on the strategy for disseminating and exploiting results, defining communication actions, dissemination activities and strategies for stakeholder engagement at national and European level.
As a result of this meeting, the next steps for the project were established, including the organisation of the final conference to be held in June in Antalya (Turkey) and the final coordination meeting to take place in Seville in October 2026, consolidating COCEMFE Seville’s role as a key player in the implementation and transfer of the Digiboost project’s results.
