General Objectives
- To create a comprehensive training programme and other pedagogical tools for digital mentoring of vulnerable young people living in rural areas.
- To promote their social inclusion and transition to independent living as active members of the rural communities in which they live, taking into account the most vulnerable group among them: young people with disabilities.
- To address some of the challenges faced by young people with disabilities in rural areas, such as limited access to education and employment.
Results
Among the main results:
- Curriculum on digital mentoring including programmes for: mentors, mentees and soft skills for Independent Living.
- MOOC on the curriculum created for digital mentoring
- A transnational training of trainers workshop on digital mentoring.
- Holding of webinars and f2f trainings on practical aspects of digital mentoring in each country
- Pilot implementation report of digital mentoring sessions with developing youth in rural areas.
- Policy recommendations on the applicability of the curriculum.
