Ready Women’s project holds a short term transnational training in Turin on improving the employability of women with disabilities

A total of 20 people from 6 partner countries participated in a training, held from July 1 to 3 at the Istituto dei Sordi di Torino, within the ‘Ready Women’ program that seeks to improve the employability of women with disabilities.

The collaborating partners from Spain, Italy, Turkey, Latvia, Bulgaria and Portugal were also trained in:

  • Transversal competences and soft skills for disabled women with employment opportunities.
  • The need of women with disabilities in relation to the search for employment opportunities in NYE and emerging sectors today.
  • How to advise and a company women with disabilities in their job search process.

Finally, this day established the implementation of a specific training, in future phases of the project, to improve work opportunities for women with physical and sensory disabilities.
